It is with deep gratitude that we wish to thank the Yamada family and the New York Aikikai for organizing and hosting an incredible afternoon to honor Yamada Sensei. It provided Yamada Sensei's students from all over the world a way to be together to celebrate his extraordinary life. The service united hundreds of people spanning 60 years of aikido with members of Yamada Sensei's family, and that was a true gift. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience full of laughter and tears, and it will never be forgotten. Thank you.
