Dear Aikido Community,
As you may know, today marks the first anniversary of Yamada Sensei’s passing.
With so many people around the world deeply touched by Sensei in both their aikido and personal journeys, we wanted to acknowledge this day and take a moment to remember our teacher together.
We each have our own memories of Sensei, and we hope that with this sad anniversary, you are able to hold yours close to your heart and feel his spirit in your thoughts and in your practice. We will continue to uphold his teachings, his generosity and his fairness as beacons to help guide us forward as an organization.
